This piece represents the highs and lows, the challenges, triumphs, lessons learnt, knowledge, wisdom, confusion and clarity.

In Bidjara language barugu barunga means ‘as clear as a river’. Everyone feels! We feel an assortment of emotions throughout our own personal journeys of discovery. All the while our glowing sun shines light on even the darkest of days. I painted this piece in a confused state and by the time I had dotted the very last dot everything felt clear….as clear as a river.
